In our area there are lots of signs saying 'Pray for Blane'. I googled it and found some very interesting stuff:
Blane Baxley has leukemia and spent time at Shands.
I also found a relationship with Tim Tebow (the great Univ Florida football player). He was an intensely Christian. He may have been borne in the Philipines where his people served as missionaries.
Further he has founded a hospital in the Philipines. He seemed to also be a friend of Blane.
