Thanks Paul,
When Larry got into his Genealogical pursuits it gave him a new focus
for his intellectual activities. We had started traveling to the Eastern
Shore and Northern Neck and the Tidewater to find records before he
retired. After he retired searching libraries, courthouses and archives
gave a purpose to our travels around the country. I've just been looking
at some of his notebooks from those years. I had forgotten how thorough
he was in recording information from the documents he pursued. The
biggest impression I get is that connections spread out in all
directions making it difficult to untangle the web of information.
It is good to see something he wrote when he was first getting started
and it didn't seem so complex.
Be Safe, ellie
