FOODS

Foods which Larry used to eat all the time and won't eat now:

Potato Salad

Ground Beef

Red Beans and Rice

Green Beans.

This is in addition to foods he can't chew or can't swallow or foods which are too spicy.

I am at a loss as to what to offer him that may be nutritious and easy to eat.

Pray for Blane

In our area there are lots of signs saying 'Pray for Blane'. I googled it and found some very interesting stuff:

Blane Baxley has leukemia and spent time at Shands.

I also found a relationship with Tim Tebow (the great Univ Florida football player). He was an intensely Christian. He may have been borne in the Philipines where his people served as missionaries.

Further he has founded a hospital in the Philipines.  He seemed to also be a friend of Blane.

Ellie proved unable to edit my last post. She solved that problem by making both of us administrators.  Great.

Mary's Gift

Mary Joseph comes often to our Friends Meeting. At this one she was sick and chose not to go for fear of infecting the rest of us.  But she was impeled to come to the door where she give one lovely blanket to Ellie and another to me.

My blanket had in bold was the words of 'Amazing Grace':

'Twas grace that taught my heart to fear,

Heart Failure

Heart failure is an ambiguous term. To many people it is synonymous with 'congestive heart failure', but this is the more common term (keep it pumping).

Dell

The  Dell Computer resides between the two Microsoft computers.

It taken up with three versions of  15.04. the first one only seems to work.

netsurf

Netsurf is great for general information.

Pelican

At the Library book store I found 'Pelican Brief' and paid 50 cents for it.

Today we went to Ormon and St. Augustine. I dressed very inappropriately and we (unfortunately) went to Applebees where all the food was heavily spiced.

It works well.  I had to get disable touchpad and now it went right to blogger.com, and soon to my blogs.
